Claudia Imbert is empassioned about her contemporaries at the heart of their environment.

Be they poloists or simple neighbours, She likes to mix film and photograhy to convene the peculiar/specific beauty of her subjects. "Using artifice is a way of seizing the right moment", she says. Her stagings give rise to simultaneously gentle and enstranging atmospheres, a documentary style tinged with reverie.

Exhibitions, cross-media installations, projections... Imbert's multifaceted oeuvre has earned numeous awards and her series "Petite-Vallée" is now to be published by Filigranes. She regularely shoots various film formats for Arte as well as portraits for French cultural magazine Télérama. The Cité de L'Architecture, Total, Anne Willi and organic cosmetics Welixirs have entrusted her their advertising campaigns.
